15 May 2026STALEConfirmed Thursday 25 June 2026 at 19:10 UTC

What does this mean?

The General Employment Permit covers a broad range of occupations not listed on the Critical Skills or Ineligible Occupations lists. Applicants must have a job offer from an Irish employer and meet minimum annual salary requirements. New applications are processed in the order they are received.

The processing date shown is the most recent application receipt date that DETE has decided. Applications received after this date are still being processed.
